one more month...

of school, that is. and about three and a half months left of pregnancy. that is insane! this semester has flown by, and I can't believe that I'm almost done with my first year of hygiene school.  naturally, the last half of this semester is ridiculously full of projects and papers; i've got 5 more to finish before i'm done!  but thanks to this "nesting" thing, i've been real organized and on top of things, so i'm not too worried about it.

last week, kacey had her second babe, little brynn elise. she is the sweetest, and rowe is such a sweet big brother, when he's actually paying attention to her haha. most of the time he's just doing his own thing. but he hasn't acted out at all, he's just his normal self.  i love seeing him and mat together.  mat is honestly going to be the best dad, i can't wait to see him and our little guy together!

as promised, here are a few favorites from our baby moon, a few weeks late in true kaelin fashion.
catalina was amazing. such a charming little island.  we spent our day there walking around and checking out a few shops.  my one regret is that we didn't rent a golf cart right when we got there, so by the time we decided we wanted to, the line was 5 miles long, and we were too tired to wait. definitely on our list of places to go again.

at ensenada, we got a little braver and decided what we wanted to do right away.  we took a bus to the flea market and blowhole, and loved every second of it! the flea market was awesome, i love looking at all the little shops.  the ocean was gorgeous, the blowhole was cool.  the whole way down the flea market, we were offered samples of virgin pina coladas and churros, and bought our favorite ones just before we got back on the bus.  it was a perfect stop for a few hours, and we were back on the ship by lunch time, haha.

i think my favorite part of the trip is how relaxing it was.  we still got to see awesome places, but never had to pay for food, and still got to relax and do nothing for half the day.  the day at sea was definitely the most rejuvenating.  we hot tubbed, played cards, got room service, aaand we saw dolphins! me and my bump probably appreciated that day the most.

my bump definitely blossomed during this trip.  the week or two before we left, i started getting a noticeable bump, and by the time we were heading home, my pants were not staying up, even with the help of a belly band, though i'm sure the all-inclusive food helped that along.  all the girls at school said they couldn't see a bump before spring break, and after spring break there was a definite one haha.  my innie is slowly flattening out, although its not an outtie yet.  i finally found a pair of maternity pants that i like, and i feel like a whole new woman.  my first baby shower is in a couple weeks, and we have already started getting gifts in the mail. everything is roaring towards us, and i can't wait! as soon as school is done, i will be working furiously on this little guy's room, and then it'll feel reaaaaally real. can't wait.
